Last updated: 1 January 2025

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account on the UKRO Learning Platform you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised access. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

3. Acceptable use

The UKRO Learning Platform is provided for lawful professional development purposes. You may not: copy, reproduce, or redistribute course content; use the platform to distribute malware or spam; attempt to circumvent assessment integrity; or use automated means to access the platform without our written consent.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled before the next renewal date; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may change prices on 30 days' written notice.

5. Intellectual property

All course content, assessments, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access content for personal professional development only.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UKRO's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

7. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you have any questions about this terms of service, please contact us at [email protected] or write to UKRO House, United Kingdom.
